Book recommendation: “Read This To Get Smarter” by B. Imani

This book recommendation arrived through social media and I was instantly hooked. It's a book that is elegant and is informative, inspiring and reminding so many things we take for granted. Blair does a wonderful job covering a variety of topics with historical context, intersectionality, and a ton of compassion. It’s hard to choose a favorite part of the book, but I love the way she covered “communication” on page 50, and “socialism” on page 68. Just like her Smarter in Seconds series, in this book, she explains everything succinctly without losing any of the important points. This is a very accessible read that’s great for youth and adults alike.
