Waves of Burlesque

A few days ago I was at a premier of a burlesque documentary by Colina van Bemmel. Her film Waves of Burlesque is about burlesque performers as they struggle with the difference between their burlesque alter ego and their role in the outside world. Layer by layer, they expose themselves to the public while trying to change the unwritten rules of society.

The premier of the documentary was followed by a show featuring also the amazing women portrayed in the documentary. Here are some pictures from the night.
