One question project: Snezana Baclija Knoch

What would you suggest to be the best approach to lifelong learning?

I can only say what is the suitable way for me to approach it. It is about boosting my own curiosity, attentiveness and self-awareness. I strongly believe that if you are curious, you will be intrigued by things that are different from your own context and reality and would want to find out more about the underlying reasons for the difference(s). Attentiveness (with curiosity - curiosity is an answer to everything!) hopefully enables you to catch and reflect on the things evolving and changing around you and hopefully motivates you to find ways to deal with those changing circumstances. As a cherry on the top, self-awareness helps you figure out in which directions to grow and develop and seek ways to do so. It leads to you understanding yourself as a learner and ways to tailor the learning process to your needs. It might be quite evident that I think that attitudes are the key to moving forward in lifelong learning and, if paired up with inner-readiness, the reality of lifelong learning becomes much easier to navigate.

About Snezana:

I am a mother of four (2 kids and 2 cats), wife, daughter and a facilitator of learning. I'm driven by values and triggered by injustice, ignorance and oppression. I like to play, explore and ask questions. I like and grow from human interactions, but also like my quiet corner in the yellow armchair or being surrounded by my orchids.
