Exit comfort zone, enter Berlin

This past weekend I spent in Berlin with the invitation of Global Lithuanian Leaders and LEO in Berlin, I have presented my insights about community building, community importance and communication.

I have always believed in the power of community but like I said in my presentation, I have never really looked at it from the perspective of the scientific approach, something you can manage, guide and empower. Everything came to me in a very natural progression since I started my journey with NGOs and social work, education and trainings in 1999.

Further on it happened to be that my experience translated into knowlede that can be found in so many books yet I arrived to it through a very practical experience.

Community is so important - having sense of belonging and sense of value is crucial not only for the organizations but for individuals who are forming that community.
