Erotic Poetry on Stage

Yesterday Kevin said that, “anything can be erotic with the right pauses and tone” and it was. Yesterday, September 10th, Paradiso turned up the heat and delivered an unforgettable evening with Erotic Poetry Night. From the moment I stepped inside, the air was charged with excitement and anticipation, setting the perfect tone for a night dedicated to the exploration of desire, passion, and all things erotic.

I had the pleasure of supporting Kevin-Ahn Kwang Soo-Groen, the brilliant organizer behind the event, who brought together a stunningly diverse lineup of artists, poets, musicians, and performers. The night was everything it promised to be—sensual, raunchy, humorous, and deeply moving. Whether it was raw fantasies, stories of dates gone right (or hilariously wrong), or intimate moments of self-reflection, the performers bared their souls and took us on an emotional journey.

One of the highlights for me was the sheer range of erotic expression. From slow, lingering kisses to explorations of fetishes and kinks, each performance added something new and refreshing to the mix. I found myself laughing at some moments, blushing during others, and fully captivated the entire time. Erotic Poetry Night wasn’t just about titillation—it was an immersive experience that tapped into the full spectrum of human emotion and connection.

The night wasn’t only about the performances either; it was a celebration of our shared curiosity and willingness to engage with the erotic in its many forms. There was a powerful sense of community in the room, as the audience cheered, gasped, and laughed along with each act. Whether people were attending alone, with friends, or on a date, the event was designed for everyone to enjoy and feel welcome.

Kevin’s vision for the night shone through in every detail. His dedication to creating an inclusive space where artists could share their unique perspectives on what eroticism means to them was truly inspiring. After several successful local shows, he took Erotic Poetry Night to new heights with this event at Paradiso, and I’m thrilled to have been part of the experience.

As someone who values creativity and emotional expression, this event hit all the right notes. It pushed boundaries, invited reflection, and, above all, entertained. If you missed it, I can only hope that Erotic Poetry Night will make its return to Paradiso soon—because it’s one night you don’t want to miss.

I left Paradiso feeling energized, inspired, and with a deeper appreciation for the power of erotic art and storytelling. It was an evening that touched all my senses, and I couldn’t have asked for a more engaging or thought-provoking experience.

If Erotic Poetry Night ever graces the stage again, make sure you treat yourself to this one-of-a-kind event. It’s a night of indulgence, creativity, and connection that lingers long after the final act takes a bow.
